SABOR BARRANQUILLA
It is a gastronomic fest celebrated in Barranquilla, Colombia
Every year, they call for the image for the event of the year; this was my proposal for SABOR BARRANQUILLA 2024, and to my surprise, I was the winner.
Like many others in the Caribbean region, the Magdalena River has been crucial for regional development, fostering communities, trade, and rich gastronomic traditions. Our navigator embarks on a journey down the river in a watermelon-shaped raft, symbolizing cultural heritage with indigenous-inspired designs.
This project is brought to life through Risograph printing, a technique that layers basic colors to create unique tones, reflecting the blend of cultures shaping our region.
It’s an invitation to explore our rich culinary traditions—because there’s no better way to travel than through food.
